Fear in the Home

 

The gun; an object of comfort as well as concern.  I am curious about its placement in the home and its presence in the mind.  For some it is an object of necessity signifying security.  For others it is a threatening object.  In either interpretation of this object, as signifier of comfort or concern, it is by the human hand that it wields power.  The duality of object in relationship to the home and the hand is where my investigation begins.
